Crunchy peanut butter and oat cookies for dogs, packed with banana and flaxseed for a healthy treat.
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 1/4 cup natural peanut butter (no xylitol)
- 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup water (if needed for consistency)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix mashed banana, peanut butter, and ground flaxseed until smooth.
- Add rolled oats and whole wheat flour, stirring until combined. Add water if the mixture is too dry.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet and flatten slightly.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and crisp.
- Let cool completely before serving to your dog.
Notes
- Use peanut butter without xylitol, as it’s toxic to dogs.
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
- Break into smaller pieces for smaller dogs.
